A Youth 2000 Prayer Group is a regular gathering of young people coming together to meet Jesus Christ in his word and sacrament, to be supported and encouraged in faith, and, coming before him present in the eucharist, to be strengthened on the journey by the abundant graces that flow from he who is ‘the way, and the truth and the Life’.
“Dear young friends… be contemplative, love prayer; be coherent with your faith and generous in the service of your brothers and sisters, be active members of the Church and builders of peace. To succeed in this demanding project of life, continue to listen to His Word, draw strength from the Sacraments, especially the Eucharist and Penance. The Lord wants you to be intrepid apostles of his Gospel and builders of a new humanity.”
- Pope Saint John Paul II
These Prayer Groups are a life-giving opportunity for you to come to know and love God more fully, to make him a bigger part of your life, to let his love radiate through you to your friends and family.
You are always welcome.
