The retreat is taking place at St Mary’s Retreat in Carmarthen, South Wales. It'll include a range of talks, life-changing services and time for quiet prayer. This event is pay-what-you-can, so it won't break the bank.

Who is this event for?

Young adults in their late teens/twenties who want to reconnect with God.

When is it?

Registration starts at 6pm on Friday 30th October. This three-day event finishes on Sunday 1st November.

How do I get there?
The railway station in Carmarthen is a 20 minute walk from St Mary’s. We may also plan a coach to travel from London departing Westminster Cathedral if there is enough demand, (recommended donation of £25 return) – for bookings contact Vincent on 07982 197064. For those of you driving, the full address of the school is: St Mary’s Retreat, Union Street, CARMARTHEN, South Wales, SA31 3DE. Here is a map.

Youth 2000 retreat?

Where would I stay?

There will be separate accommodation available for men and women. All you'll need to bring are a sleeping bag, roll-mat, wash kit and ear plugs. Please don't bring expensive items such as an iPod or jewellery.

What if I'm under the age of 18 or over 30? Can I still come?
If you're under the age of 18, you'll need to bring a signed parental consent form. If you're under the age of 16, you'll need to be accompanied by a responsible adult (who is aged 21 or over).  There needs to be at least one such Group Guardian for every five children under the age of 16. If you're in your thirties, this retreat isn't really for you, although we do always need mature volunteers to help with the running of our events.  If you're interested in coming along to the retreat to help in some way, please contact the
National Office to discuss the matter further - we look forward to hearing from you!
