Ben Hince: Santiago walk for Youth 2000

Wed, 05/10/2011

During August and September 17 yr old Ben Hince walked a long way (1000 miles) for a long time (two months) through France and Spain on a well known pilgirmage: El Camino de Santiago de Compostela. Ben raised a tremendous £1300 which he will split between Youth 2000 and the charity LIFE.

In his own words Ben shares a little about his experience: "The walk was amazing, beyond words. The people I met and became friends with will stay with me forever. It was so nice having all that space and time and just having to do the simplest of things... walking. Ha Ha. It was also a great time for me to grow closer to God, and was actually much like the Youth 2000 experiences I've had in the way that it's a step back from all the distractions of modern day living and allows this raw relationship with God to just BOOM!"

Well done Ben - both Youth 2000 and LIFE are blessed by your great initiative and generosity! If you want to support Ben, it is not too late, please visit http://www.charitygiving.co.uk/benedicthince to donate.
